Cornell defeated the Princeton Tigers in seven of their last eight meetings, including winning the last four games. While Cornell swept the season series last year against the Penn Quakers, Cornell has not defeated Penn three games in a row since sweeping the 1988-1989 season series and beating Penn in the teams' first meeting during the 1989-1990 season. The last time Cornell won more than three consecutive games against Penn was between 1965 and 1968 when Cornell captured five straight over the Quakers.
