The Penn-Columbia Series
*The Quakers and Lions have met 219 times, with Penn holding a 134-85 lead in the series after winning the most recent meeting (64-54 on Feb. 25, 2011 at The Palestra).

*That said, Columbia has won three of the last four, four the last six, and five of the last seven in the series.

The Penn-Cornell Series
*The Quakers and Big Red have met 216 times, with Penn holding a substantial 143-73 lead in the series.

*Cornell has held the upper hand in recent years, winning seven of the last eight meetings including a sweep last year (82-71 in OT in Ithaca, 74-72 in Philadelphia).

Milestones
Senior guard Tyler Bernardini will make his 100th appearance wearing the Penn uniform on Friday night against Columbia. If classmate Zack Rosen starts both games this weekend -- and chances are good he will -- his start at Cornell on Saturday will be his 100th at Penn.

Record Setter!
Senior guard Zack Rosen had four assists last Wednesday at Lafayette, giving him 506 for his career which is the program record. The previous mark of 505 was set by Rosen's current head coach, Jerome Allen, from 1992-95. Rosen had nine Tuesday against La Salle and now has 515 in his career.

An Original!
Rosen again. With his nine assists Tuesday night against La Salle, the senior guard reached exactly 100 for the season and became the first player at Penn to record four seasons with 100 or more assists. (He had 139 his freshman year, 124 his sophomore year, and 152 last season as a junior.) Assists have been kept as an individual stat at Penn since 1978-79.

Record Book Watch
*Senior guard Zack Rosen has 1,420 career points which puts him 11th on Penn's all-time scoring list. (Mark Zoller is 10th with 1,429 points from 2004-07, while Bruce Lefkowitz is ninth with 1,443 points from 1984-87.)

*Senior guard Tyler Bernardini has 1,319 career points which puts him 15th on Penn's all-time scoring list. (Tony Price is 14th with 1,322 points from 1977-79, while Herb Lyon is 13th with 1,356 points from 1946-50.)

*Rosen has played 3,548 career minutes which is sixth all-time. (Ibrahim Jaaber is fifth, with 3,569 minutes, while Jerome Allen is fourth with 3,570.)

*Rosen has 190 career three-point field goals which is sixth all-time, while Bernardini is seventh all-time with 180 treys. (Garett Kreitz is fifth, with 199 treys.)

*Rosen has made 374 career foul shots which is seventh all-time. (Current Penn Athletic Director Steve Bilsky is sixth, with 388 made foul shots.)

*Rosen has started 98 games in his career, eighth all-time. (Koko Archibong is seventh, with 99 starts.)

*Bernardini has 92 career starts which is 10th all-time. (Mark Zoller is ninth, with 94 starts.)

It Should Be Noted...
*Penn shot 15-of-16 from the foul line Tuesday night against La Salle; in their last three games, the Quakers are a combined 43-of-46 (.935) at the charity stripe.

*Senior guard Zack Rosen is 51-of-53 from the charity stripe in Penn's last 12 contests, with streaks of 25 and 20 consecutive made during the current span.

*Rosen has led Penn in scoring 11 times in 16 games this season.

*In the last two games, Rosen has 13 assists and two turnovers.

*Senior Rob Belcore has scored in double figures five times in Penn's last eight games; prior to this run, his last double-figure outing came during the 2009-10 season.

Quaker Notemeal vs. La Salle
*Penn had more assists than turnovers for the fifth time in six games, and had fewer turnovers than its opponent for the third time in four games.

*Sophomore center Fran Dougherty led Penn in scoring with a career-high 14 points, becoming the fourth different Penn player to lead the team in scoring in a game this season (Zack Rosen, Tyler Bernardini, Miles Cartwright are the others).

*It was Dougherty's third double-figure scoring game this season and in his career (10 vs. Temple, 10 at Davidson).

*It was senior guard Zack Rosen's 100th career game at Penn.

*Freshman forward Henry Brooks started for the seventh straight game and the eighth time in nine games, scored nine points, and set a season/career high with two steals.
