Big Addition to Big Red in '09-'10

One of the welcome newcomers to the 2009-2010 edition of Cornell Big Red Basketball is Mark Coury, a 6'9" 240 lb. power forward/center who transferred to the Big Red during January 2009 from the University of Kentucky.

Coury is eligible to play at the commencement of the 2009-2010 season and maintains two years of eligibility.

While Cornell, the two-time defending Ivy League Champions, returns from a year ago all five starters and seven of the top eight players in minutes played, Coury adds another much needed big body to the rotation. He is a scrappy defender and plays hard-nose physical basketball and should become a fan favorite of Newman Nation.
