George Mason athletic department has announced that Andre Cornelius will be suspended 10 games this season after his arrest in September. He will return December 20, the day before the game vs Duquesne. Here is a quote from Andre on the suspension:
"I accept this punishment and will work as hard as possible to support my team and get ready to make an impact when I come back"
Cornelius pleaded guilty to the credit card fraud charges and it appears those charges have been dismissed. Originally I thought the suspension would be less but I'm sure the fact that this wasn't his first suspension might have been a factor. So the Patriots won't have Cornelius for the NIT Tip-off or the game against UVA but they will have him for him for all by one CAA game (@ Towson Dec 3).
